TPP free trade talks in Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Brunei - Akira Amari (L), the Japanese minister in charge of the Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade negotiations, and other participants of the 19th round of negotiations for creating a regional free trade pact visit the palace of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei (R) in Bandar Seri Begawan on Aug. 22, 2013. TPP ministers see no year-end deal but agree to speed up talks

BEIJING, China - Photo taken Nov. 8, 2014, shows the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, where trade ministers from 12 countries involved in the Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations met the same day. According to Akira Amari, Japan's minister in charge of TPP talks, the ministers failed to clear a path for concluding a deal by the end of the year as proposed by the United States, but they agreed to accelerate their talks as much as possible.
