Reactors at Niigata nuclear plant
TOKYO, Japan - File photo taken in June 2013 shows buildings containing the No. 6 reactor (C) and the No. 7 reactor (R) at Tokyo Electric Power Co.'s Kashiwazaki-Kariwa nuclear power plant in Niigata Prefecture. Niigata Gov. Hirohiko Izumida said Sept. 26, 2013, that he basically approves TEPCO's plan to apply for a safety assessment of the two idled reactors, a key step toward resuming their operation. To the left is the No. 5 reactor building.
