Anpanman creator Yanase dies
KOCHI, Japan - A special train, painted with Anpanman and other characters from one of the most popular Japanese anime cartoon series for young children, arrives at JR Kochi Station in Kochi Prefecture on Oct. 15, 2013. The creator of the characters, Takashi Yanase, a native of the prefecture, died of heart failure at a Tokyo hospital on Oct. 13 aged 94.
