BOSTON, United States - Umpires discuss the protest of Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell as Red Sox base runner Dustin Pedroia was judged out after St. Louis Cardinals shortstop Pete Kozma fumbled the ball during the first inning of Game 1 of the Major League Baseball World Series at Fenway Park in Boston on Oct. 23, 2013. The call was later overturned. The Red Sox won 8-1 to lead the series 1-0.
