Korean singer helps deepen Japan-Korea bond
SEOUL, South Korea - Singer Chon Wol Son, a second-generation Korean resident in Japan, receives an award from the Japan-Korea Cultural Foundation at a ceremony on Sept. 25, 2013 in Seoul. The soprano, who has sung songs from Japan and Korea for three decades, was recognized for her contributions to deepening the bilateral relations through music.
