S. Korean A-bomb survivor files suit
NAGASAKI, Japan - Supporters of Pak Jong Gyu, a 90-year-old South Korean man who was forced to come to Japan as a worker in August 1944 one year ahead of the U.S. atomic bombing of Nagasaki, arrive at the Nagasaki District Court in the city of Nagasaki on Jan. 14, 2014. Pak, a resident of South Korea's South Jeolla Province, filed a lawsuit with the court the same day against the Nagasaki city government seeking official recognition as an atomic-bomb sufferer.
