Honda starts running new Mexican plant in full swing
CELAYA, Mexico - Takanobu Ito (2nd from L), president of Honda Motor Co., attends a ceremony marking the start of full-scale operations at Honda's new Mexican plant in Celaya, Guanajuato, on Feb. 21, 2014. The plant, capable of making up to 200,000 Fit compacts and other vehicles per year, is expected to help Honda expand exports from Mexico to its free trade agreement partner the United States and to a number of Latin American countries.
