New rice variety developed in central Japan

NAGOYA, Japan - The Aichi prefectural government shows a new rice variety it has developed in Nagoya, central Japan, on March 12, 2014. Officials say the variety dubbed "Aichi No. 123," which took about 10 years to develop, can withstand extreme heat.
