Last 'Akebono' night train arrives at Aomori Station
AOMORI, Japan - The last "Akebono" overnight express train from Ueno Station in Tokyo arrives at its final destination, Aomori Station in northeastern Japan, on March 15, 2014. East Japan Railway Co. decided to retire the Akebono, which began operating in October 1970, due to aging train cars and a decrease in passengers.
