Int'l court rules against Japanese whaling
THE HAGUE, Netherlands - Photo taken March 31, 2014, shows Japanese officials in a courtroom at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, the Netherlands, ahead of a ruling on a case lodged by Australia seeking an end to Japanese whaling in the Antarctic Ocean. Japan lost the case as the U.N. court ruled Japan's whale hunting is not conducted for scientific purposes and ordered the whaling to stop.
