Japan joins U.N. Arms Trade Treaty

NEW YORK, United States - Ambassador Motohide Yoshikawa (L), permanent representative of Japan to the United Nations, presents the instrument of ratification for the Arms Trade Treaty in the presence of U.N. High Representative for Disarmament Affairs Angela Kane (R) at the U.N. headquarters in New York on May 9, 2014. Japan became the 32nd country to join the international treaty.
