Tourists view sea of clouds at Shimukappu, Hokkaido

SAPPORO, Japan - Tourists view a sea of clouds below them from an observatory deck set up at an altitude of 1,088 meters at a resort facility in the village of Shimukappu in Hokkaido, northern Japan, on July 25, 2014. The deck will be open for business until Oct. 14.

                      SAPPORO, Japan - A total of 32 mother sheep, including 13 pregnant sheep, walk on snow-covered ground of the National Agriculture and Food Research Organization in Sapporo, Hokkaido, on Dec. 25, 2014. They took a 1-kilometer, 15-minute walk to make up for a lack of exercise. The sheep will continue their walk in the snow almost every day until February.
