'Cat temple' in Fukui Pref.

FUKUI, Japan - Some of over 50 formerly abandoned cats living in the precincts of the Gotanjoji Temple, dubbed "the cat temple" among cat fanciers, are photographed on June 17, 2014, in Echizen, Fukui Prefecture. About 10,000 cat-loving people annually visit the temple built in 2002.
