Japan, U.S. take step forward in beef, pork tariffs talks
WASHINGTON, United States - Hiroshi Oe, deputy chief TPP negotiator of Japan, speaks to reporters in Washington on Aug. 5, 2014, after the two-day talks with his U.S. counterpart Wendy Cutler. Oe said the two countries took a "step forward" in negotiations over Japan's proposed exceptional tariffs on beef and pork under a Pacific Rim free trade agreement.
