HIROSHIMA, Japan - Work to re-cover a wooden stage -- a national treasure -- of Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage site, gets under way for the first repair in 26 years in Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima Prefecture, western Japan, on Aug. 18, 2014.
