Softbank's Son joins iced water challenge
TOKYO, Japan - Masayoshi Son, chairman and chief executive officer of Softbank Corp., a Japanese telecommunications and Internet company, pours a bucket of iced water over himself at the company's headquarters in Tokyo's Minato Ward on Aug. 20, 2014. Son joined a charity event gaining popularity among U.S. celebrities to increase awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a disease known as ALS, by pouring iced water onto themselves and posting videos of it on social networking sites.
