Aftermath of landslides in Hiroshima
HIROSHIMA, Japan - Residents whose relatives are missing following massive mudslides stand near debris and watch search and rescue operations in the city of Hiroshima on Aug. 24, 2014, four days after mudslides caused by heavy downpours buried and washed away houses and apartments in mountainous areas. The death toll from the mudslides has risen to 50, with 38 still missing.
