TOKYO, Japan - Tesla Motors Inc.'s first electric-powered "Model S" cars are shown in Tokyo on Sept. 8, 2014, prior to being delivered to customers in Japan. The U.S. startup company's model boasts a driving range of over 500 kilometers on a full charge.
