Footage of "comfort women" interviews released
SEOUL, South Korea - South Korea's Association for the Pacific War Victims releases footage of 1993 interviews with women known as former "comfort women" on Sept. 15, 2014, in Seoul. The interviews were conducted at the office of the association in July 1993 by the Japanese government with victims of World War II sexual slavery to produce a 1993 apology known as the Kono statement.
