App to offer marathoners info via wearable device
OSAKA, Japan - An official of K-Opticom Corp., a Japanese telecommunications company, shows a demonstration image based on an application program it has developed to provide runners in a marathon race with their standings and other information through a wearable eyeglass-type device in Osaka on Sept. 18, 2014. The Kansai Electric Power Co. affiliate will demonstrate the smartphone software in the Osaka Marathon 2014 slated for Oct. 26.
