H.K. pro-democracy activists block main road

HONG KONG, HONG KONG - Thousands of protesters occupy a main road near the government headquarters in Hong Kong on Sept. 28, 2014. The protesters broke through cordons, prompting police to fire tear gas in an attempt to disperse them. The Occupy Central movement aims to press Beijing and Hong Kong authorities for genuine democracy in the 2017 election.
