Japan to draft dengue fever prevention guidelines
KOBE, Japan - A city worker sprays pesticide to get rid of mosquitoes at a park in Nishinomiya on Oct. 8, 2014, following a report that a woman is suspected of having been infected with the disease in the western Japan city. Japan plans to draft guidelines for preventing dengue fever and other mosquito-borne infectious diseases after the first dengue infection in Japan since 1945 was found in August.
