'Dry landscape' garden in Kyoto illuminated
KYOTO, Japan - Two women enjoy Torin-in Temple's "karesansui"-style rock garden illuminated with candle light and traditional Japanese lanterns in Kyoto, western Japan, on Oct. 9, 2014. Karesansui, literally meaning a dry mountain and water, is a style of gardening which creates a landscape with only dry materials such as rocks and gravel stones.
