Archery taught as peacemaking tool in Kenyan village
ALALE, Kenya - A boy of the Pokot tribe in Alale, Kenya, aims at a mark made of rubber sandals on Sept. 25, 2014, during an archery practice. Kenyan educators are attempting to channel the tribe's hunting skills into archery to settle unabated conflict with a neighboring tribe over livestock.
