Gov't OKs JR Tokai's maglev train project
TOKYO, Japan - Koei Tsuge (L), president of Central Japan Railway Co., or JR Tokai, receives a letter of authorization for the magnetically levitated train from transport minister Akihiro Ota on Oct. 17, 2014, at the transport ministry in Tokyo. The project to build a line, linking Tokyo and Nagoya by 2027 is expected to start in late October.
