Philippines marks 70th anniversary of MacArthur's landing
PALO, Philippines - Filipinos take pictures on Oct. 20, 2014, in front of the bronze statues of U.S. Army Gen. Douglas MacArthur and other officials in Palo, the Philippines, to mark the 70th anniversary of the landing on Leyte Island of MacArthur. It marked the start of the Philippines' liberation from Japanese forces during World War II.
