H.K. gov't, protesters fail to bridge divide in talks
HONG KONG, China - Pro-democracy protesters gather on a major thoroughfare in central Hong Kong, China, on Oct. 21, 2014, after talks between their representatives and government officials ended without result. Following the two-hour dialogue, the protest movement's leaders expressed dissatisfaction with the government's "vague" response to their demands and called on demonstrators in the streets to continue with their occupation action.
