Barbers create hairstyle inspired by feudal lord's crest

SENDAI, Japan - Some 190 hairdressers put the finishing touches to create a "Sendai-gari" hairstyle during a community event in Sendai, northeastern Japan, on Nov. 3, 2014, in an effort to produce a new local trendy hairstyle modeled after the famous crescent crest on 17th-century Sendai feudal lord Date Masumune's "kabuto" helmet.
