Taiwan's pro-China KMT loses mayoral elections
TAIPEI, Taiwan - Taiwan President Ma Ying-jeou (C) holds a news conference at the headquarters of his ruling Nationalist Party (KMT) in Taipei on Nov. 29, 2014, after the KMT suffered a crushing defeat in special municipal district elections. Ma, who doubles as KMT chairman, called for reform and vowed to continue liberalization.
