TOKYO, Japan - A major Tokyo supermarket puts up a notice limiting shoppers to one pack of butter each at a time on Nov. 28, 2014, due to unstable supply caused by the shortage of raw milk. But dairy firms have promised to increase their butter supply about 33% in December ahead of the Christmas shopping season.

        TOKYO, Japan - Tanaka Kikinzoku Jewelry K.K. unveils one of two pure gold Santa Claus statues at its flagship store in Tokyo's Ginza shopping district on Nov. 20 ahead of the Christmas season. The statues, which carry a price tag of 200 million yen each, will go on display at the Ginza store and its Shinsaibashi outlet in Osaka between Dec. 21 and 25.
