KUSHIRO, Japan - Taka Maesawa, a photographer from Nakashibetsu, Hokkaido, speaks in nearby Kushiro on Oct. 24, 2014, about her 110-page photo book documenting the life of the Ainu ethnic minority in the northernmost prefecture for more than 30 years since 1983.
