Sharp to launch higher-resolution "8K" TVs in FY 2015

LAS VEGAS, United States - Photo taken Jan. 5, 2015, shows the new Aquos liquid crystal display television unveiled by Sharp Corp. at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The launch of "8K" televisions that offer even better image quality than the 4K super high-definition TVs is expected for the business year starting April 1 in markets such as Japan, China and the United States.
