Military papers on Hiroshima A-bombing damage found
HIROSHIMA, Japan - A series of books chronicling damage caused by the 1945 U.S. atomic bombing of Hiroshima are shown on Jan. 6, 2015, in the western Japanese city. One of the books quotes a memo written by Bunro Saeki, commander at the now defunct Imperial Japanese Army's shipping command, which is believed to be based on written army rescue operation orders found recently at a Defense Ministry institute in Tokyo.
