People wish for growth of business at Nishinomiya Shrine
NISHINOMIYA, Japan - Visitors place coins onto a large whole tuna offered at Nishinomiya Shrine, known as the head shrine of the deity of good fortune, Ebisu, in the city of Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, western Japan, on Jan. 8, 2015, ahead of a three-day festival starting the following day. People visit the annual event to pray for the success of their businesses by placing coins on the body of a tuna.
