Chinese-manufactured electric tricycle taxis (tuk-tuks) have been launched in Kenya's port city of Mombasa in a bid to curb carbon emissions and reduce noise pollution.
With a full charge, the electric tuk-tuks can run 100 kilometers.
Mombasa currently has about 10,000 tuk-tuks, which are said to be the biggest emitters in the city.
