2 Koreas to hold 2nd summit Aug. 28-30 in Pyongyang
SEOUL, South Korea - Chief presidential National Security Adviser Baek Jong Cheon announces in Seoul on Aug. 8 that North and South Korea have agreed to hold their second summit Aug. 28-30 in Pyongyang. The scheduled summit between S. Korean President Roh Moo Hyun and N. Korean leader Kim Jong Il will be the second one following the previous one held between then S. Korean President Kim Dae Jung and N. Korean leader Kim in June 2000 in Pyongyang.
