DPJ rejects U.S. request to extend antiterrorism operations
TOKYO, Japan - U.S. Ambassador to Japan Thomas Schieffer (L) and Democratic Party of Japan President Ichiro Ozawa shake hands as they meet at the DPJ's headquarters in Tokyo on Aug. 8.
