Lawmakers visit Yasukuni Shrine en masse
TOKYO, Japan - Led by a Shinto priest, Yoshinobu Shimamura (C), a former agriculture minister, leads a group of lawmakers from both ruling and opposition parties to offer prayers at the Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo on Aug. 15, the 62nd anniversary of the end of World War II. The Shinto shrine is dedicated to Japan's war dead.
