Motor show begins in Frankfurt

FRANKFURT, Germany - Mitsubishi Motors Corp. unveiled a sport utility vehicle equipped with a diesel engine that meets Europe's new emissions regulations at a motor show in Frankfurt that began on Sept. 11. Automakers from more than 40 countries exhibit their newest, eco-friendly cars.

Toyota debuts new cruiser yacht

TOKYO, Japan - The Ponam-31, a cruiser yacht launched by Toyota Motor Corp. on Oct. 10, 2014, sails in Tokyo Bay the same day. The Ponam-31 can reach a speed of 38 knots, or 70 kilometers per hour, with its 2,982 cc diesel engine modified from one used in a version of Toyota's Land Cruiser Prado sport utility vehicle for overseas markets.
