U.N. chief Ban in interview
NEW YORK, United States - U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki Moon speaks in an interview with Kyodo News at the U.N. headquarters in New York on Jan. 4, 2012. Ban said he is closely monitoring the situation in North Korea following the ascent of Kim Jong Un in the wake of his father's death, expressing his readiness to travel to the country to promote peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.
