Many airports in China on Sunday saw the arrivals of inbound flights after the country has optimized its COVID-19 response, with restrictions on international flights lifted starting Sunday.
Air New Zealand flight NZ289, which set off from Auckland, landed at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 6:31 in the morning.
