Therefore, Martin embarked on the beef trade between China and Uruguay and met his wife Zhang Jin. In 2017, they settled in Zhang's hometown of Wuhu City. Electrical workers staged a "high-wire walk" above the Yangtze River to inspect a power transmission line in Wuhu. Stretching 2,080 kilometers, the ±800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current transmission line between southwest China's Sichuan Province and east China's Jiangsu Province spans the Yangtze River here in Anhui. As a critical part of China's west-to-east power transmission project, this line annually transmits over 30 billion kWh of clean power. Electrical workers of Anhui Electric Power Transmission & Transformation Co., Ltd. inspected the line section across the Yangtze River to secure its operation.
