STORYLINE:
Namibia's Quinton-Steele Botes Athletics Coaching and Training Clinic is imparting crucial athletics skills to youngsters over a four-day workshop to boost the national athletics community.
The training camp, which was first established in 1993 by the late Namibian athletics administrator Quinton-Steele Botes who died in 2014, runs from Jan. 9 to 12.
The camp focuses on the principles of all athletics events, including sprints, hurdles, throw, high and long jump.
Nearly 300 participants are clustered into three age groups: the kids' athletics program for six-to-ten-year-olds, the primary and intermediate program, and the high school and seniors program.
