STORYLINE:
A water supply project co-financed by China and Zambia has helped improve water supply and sanitation to about 500,000 people in Lusaka, the Zambian capital.
The first phase of the 150 million-U.S.-dollar Kafue Bulk Water Supply project was commissioned in July last year.
The commissioning of the project has added an additional 50 million liters of water per day.
