"Last month, the UN sexual and reproductive health agency, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), launched a record-breaking 1.2 billion USD humanitarian appeal in funding to respond to women and girls facing crisis around the world.
As the world is faced with multiple, intersecting crises, I spoke to UNFPA's Executive Director here at the World Economic Forum (WEF) about the humanitarian needs to save lives and ensure that the rights of women and girls are protected and fulfilled."
