China's automobiles are gaining popularity and reaching more consumers overseas, with an export of 3.11 million units in 2022, a jump of 54.4 percent year on year.
According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, passenger car exports neared 2.53 million units, an increase of 56.7 percent year on year. Exports of commercial vehicles climbed 44.9 percent from 2021 to 582,000 units, and exports of new-energy vehicles increased 1.2 times year on year to 679,000 units.
