The number represents a slight upward revision, compared with the 3.0 percent growth preliminarily reported by Inegi on Jan. 31. Industrial activity, with strong links to its U.S. counterpart, grew 3.3 percent last year, according to the institute. The service sector, which contributes the bulk of the gross domestic product (GDP), increased by 2.8 percent in 2022, while agricultural activity rose at the same rate of 2.8 percent, Inegi reported.
