"It is 90 percent of the students who had registered for the nationwide matric exam," Thin Nu Nu Sein, an official from the Ministry of Education, told Xinhua. The figure is compared to 281,751 students sitting for the same exam in the last academic year of 2021-22, official data showed. The nationwide matriculation exam for this academic year, which began on Wednesday, will be held until March 18. There was a total of 863 exam centers, including five overseas exam centers, set up for the matric exam of this academic year, according to
