The rescue service said that the accident took place in the morning on the superhighway when the bus hit the dumper from behind, resulting in casualties. The killed passengers were sitting in the front side of the bus, it added. The rescuers immediately reached the site and shifted the victims to a local hospital in Karachi, according to the rescue service. Road accidents frequently happen in Pakistan, mainly due to poorly maintained vehicles, dilapidated roads and negligence of road safety measures.
