STORYLINE:
Hundreds of Lebanese attend the daily gatherings in an old market in Sidon, a city in southern Lebanon, to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan.
However, the financial crisis in the country has forced people to cut down their spending and focus on basic needs.
Abdel Rahman Badih, the owner of a kiosk of Katayef, a popular Arabic sweet, said business has not been going well since the crisis, stating that low salaries of citizens impacted their purchasing power.
